On Reading is such a simple idea.
André Kertész walked round seeing pictures everywhere and captured people reading.
So here, fortuitously, is my homage to Kertész and his modest big idea.
Obviously it’s from Chesham, a town Kertész, managed to avoid visiting. And not a town previously noted for reading in the street. This is Baines Walk in the centre (it connects the High Street with the Town Hall) – the reader caught enjoying a rare moment of sun outside after a day of heavy downpours.
It’s not close to the standards of the master but I like it!
