We don’t yet call it “the Taylor Wessing” in the same way as it never actually became “the Schweppes” but “the Photographic Portrait Prize” sounds far too unweildly.
Anyway, the images in the running for the prize have been announced although we’ll have to wait until November 3 to find out which one has got the nod.

It’s an interesting selection – they all seem a lot more direct, and more obviously photographic than in recent years. Of the four I don’t yet have a preferred choice and no doubt, as usual, I’ll wind up thinking that a shot from the exhibition should have won.
